On this episode of the Obviously Fight Talk podcast, the lads interviewed new Cage Warriors bantamweight champion Nathaniel Wood. Wood, who won the title at Cage Warriors 84 against Marko Kovacevic, spoke about the big title win, his future in the sport, the UFC, his next fight in Cage Warriors, his long-time coach and mentor Brad Pickett, and more. The lads also welcomed back Rhys McKee, a show favourite. Rhys speaks about the camp in TriStar, his upcoming fight, what went wrong against Smullen, his future, and more. The lads also spoke, and ranted, about the Demetrious Johnson's standing in the UFC following his statement and interview on MMAFighting.com where he called out the UFC for using 'bullying' tactics against him. They also welcomed back Darren Russell of MMA Latest and ODDsBible to preview UFC Auckland. The event takes place this coming Saturday and is headlined by Mark Hunt vs. Derrick Lewis. Referee Daniel Movahedi returned to the show this week to speak about about Japan's favourite: soccer kicks.
